iRoast2 PID mod

Has anyone PID modded an iRoast2? Would there be any benefit to doing this, or would some ultrasound crack sensor be more use ;)

I think PID 'ing a roaster is one of those thing as thats not so useful, where would you put the probe, and not 100% how it would help with the roasting, temps move all the time on different variables moving with them.

Data is good just not sure how it would improve things, thats why roasting is such an involved process.
